A landmine killed three children near a key port

SANAA, Yemen (AP) – A landmine blast near the strategic Yemeni port city of Hodeidah has killed three children and injured three others – their mother.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in a rural area of ​​al-Marawiya district, officials said.

The injured were taken to hospital in critical condition, officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to reporters. They blamed the rebels for the blast.
