North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper will hold a press conference today to outline renewed COVID-19 security restrictions for May.
The current phase of the Cooper Reopening program ends on Friday.
The current procedure restricts most outdoor gatherings to 100 people and closed gatherings to 50 people. Retail outlets can operate at full capacity to order, while restaurants are limited to 75% capacity.
